An old lake house with good bones and a talented designer like Chip Wade are the perfect combo for a dream design. With a bit of imagination and hard work, he and his team transformed a dated property into a modern relaxing getaway named Misty Mill.
Chip was able to incorporate Limbo Imports macrame hammock swing chairs into the boathouse design. They added a fun seating area to the already beautiful space.
The hammocks suspended from the ceiling are ideal for an afternoon nap as their gentle sway mimics the motion of a canoe in calm waters. This also makes the hanging chair ideal for sipping a drink or reading a book.
As you can see, this is definitely not an ordinary boat house… It has all the bells and whistles… a hydraulic lift with submerging deck platforms, one of a kind bar area, chaises, and two beautiful hammock chairs.
